A suvi.org blog post should start like this “traveling to haiti? not a good idea at the moment because of shaking grounds”. But its to serious at the moment. After the earthquake the people from haiti need our help. Not just now but also next month.
I decided to donate all the money from the ads that is coming in next February to UNICEF for Haiti.
All the money from the game ads and from the blog ads. Other topics like the theory or the adressbook and project don’t have ads. Please take also your chance and help the people in Haiti. They need new houses, roads, medical help and food.
Just in case you have already booked vacation in Dom Rep. Please still go there, because going to a place for vacation is giving work the people in that area.
Have you ever wondered yourself what animal is the bet in playing domino? Probably not. But some japanase did. Check out this fabulous tv report where there make a maze with domino stones and the animals should walk around to get the food. Getting the food without hitting the domino stones. The turtle is absolutely the best when it comes in making a mess with domino stones. The anteater doesn’t seem to like domino playing at all, or he is just not hungry. 2010 is going to be full of new gadgets, toys, mobile-phone, tablet-pcs, e-papers, e-book readers ans so on. Probably also full of JavaFX application. JavaFX is bringing the power of Java and Flash to the desktop. The cool thing is that the apps run on Windows (other people), Mac (my friends) and Linux (me). JavaFX is still at the beginning and it is already making big progress. It gives developers the ability to easily show pictures + movies and modify them on move them around as wished. Simple effects as picture scale and mirror effects are already build in into JavaFX.

To celebrate this i have here this funny pictures of the goverment of switzerland. This blocher guy tried to kick out some foreign people out of the country. Instead he got kicked out of the goverment. The goverment here in Schweiz/Suisse/Suiza/Suissa/Switzerland/Schwiizterland, or how ever you call the Helvetic Federation, is called Bundesrat. The Bundesrat are 7 people rulling the country. Each person is elected for is elected for at least 4 years. It is very rare that some get’s kicked out of a the bundesrat. Usually there are old people and retire anyway after a few years, but this guy really got kicked.

I am planning to go to Australia. The land of Oz. Ozstralia, where all the soil is red. The plan is to drive once trough the hole continent. From bottom to top. From the south to the north. From the cold to the hot. In other words from Adelaide to Darwin. Passing by Kangaru island and the red center with uluru (ayers rock).
This will be most fun with a campervan. Saving money for overnight stay because we can sleep in the van. There are many rental car companies in australia. Most of them offer the same typ of camper. If you don’t go offroad a 2WD is the better option than a 4WD. Lower in price an consuming less gasoline. Also driving faster. For two people a nice campervan is a so called hitop. They have a bed, gas oven, fridge, water tank and camping tables. There are some others types also suitable.
